I hope this helps explain A LITTLE BIT why I've been so MIA blogging lately (well, before that Challenge started, anyway)! :)

Some PREGO STATS for ya: 

{The BABY/The BUMP} He/She is the size of a little lemon (about 1.5 oz). I am just starting to get a little bump. I have a feeling I'm gonna show a LOT quicker with this one! 

{ME} I am 14 weeks along! 2nd Tri, baby! 

{PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS} Ummm..everything you can think of has happened to me this time around. I had SUCH an easy pregnancy with D, that this one has completely thrown me for a loop. I mean, nausea, vomiting, suuuuuuuper tired, backaches, infections, full-blown stomach flu...the WHOLE shebang. We had a little scare where (TMI, sorry) I was bleeding for about a week..so I am SO SO happy that things are ok in there now!! 

{DUE DATE} This little baby is scheduled to come November 13...but as we all know...the likelihood of that exact day is slim to none. :) I'm hoping babe comes a wee bit early! 

{THOUGHTS} I am so so so excited about this baby!! We had our miscarriage, and so getting prego with D was a lot harder than I thought. But this one just happened within the first two months of trying. I mean, BAM! WE ARE SO GRATEFUL for that. We were not ready for it to happen so fast! I'm secretly (ok, well not so secretly) hoping for a girl!! I'd totally be happy if the baby is just HEALTHY, though. 

{ANNOUNCEMENT TO OUR FAMS} I found this cute little egg on Etsy, and I just about died. I'd never seen anything like it, and I just KNEW I had to do it that way. It was SUCH a hit with our families. I bought two, and my sister opened one - she thought it was a graduation present - her face/reaction was priceless! Then, my MIL opened the other one at breakfast as an "early Mothers Day present" and she freaked too. I love our families, they make us feel so special! Even though it is Baby #2, they were JUST as thrilled as with D. 



Davis has NO IDEA what he's in for. Hehe. We bought him a "Big Brother" book to that we read to him. He also points to my belly and says "baby"...but I definitely don't think he's grasped the whole concept yet! But I'm up for ANY suggestions on how to ease him into having his world rocked in November! How did you handle it??

Also..I am not good at keeping a secret...so to those of you who suspected something earlier this month...GOOD JOB! HA!
