I must say, this trip was SO HARD for me. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to go..I just knew I would have to leave Davis for the first time, and I had a really hard time letting go of my "mommy control" for a week (ANY OTHER MOMS FEEL LIKE THAT THE FIRST TIME YOU LEFT YOUR LITTLE ONE?).
However, when we got there..I kind of "forgot" I had a baby (but just for a minute :) It was SUCH an amazing vacation, my friends! The Hubby and I almost decided to stay and never come back. We thought about shipping the baby and all our belongings to the islands, finding some shack to live in, start working as a waitress and surf instructor (respectively), and live a MUCH simpler life.
A girl can dream, right? But seriously, later down the road...I think it might happen! :)
So here is a little taste of our vacation...enjoy!!

| Ty LOVES the TV show Lost. So being the good sport I am, I indulged his obsession with a Lost Hike (Hawaii is where it was filmed and there were TONS of spots he wanted to check out). He had done research and found where parts of it were filmed and everything. Gotta love this guy :) |

ReplyDeleteOmgosh you trip looks awesome! I love Hawaii- went there for 4 weeks 6 years ago and my parents wanted to buy a house while we were there! It's so beautiful! I followed the pics on instagram and was so wishing i were there! Loved the pics!

Creative Estates is the first time I will be leaving my little boy, I get so happy to be going but so stressed I'm leaving him. ReplyDeleteIt is very hard leaving baby for the first time. Mine is 2 and 1/2 and I just left him overnight for the 1st time on New Year's Eve...eeep!
